Automated Transcription Services - Technical Specialist - CUAICTS2021

This business case proposes funding to develop and implement an automated audio and video transcription service for the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP). The service will transcribe all search warrants (SW) and electronic records of interviews of the accused (EROI), with seamless integration into the Evidence Management Tool (EMT). Transcriptions will be reliably available within 48 hours of receipt, revolutionising the current workflow for paralegals and prosecutors, and addressing significant bottlenecks and financial costs associated with manual transcription.
