Positive Behaviour Framework: Development and Delivery of State Wide Training to support the release of the Code of Practice for the Elimination of Restrictive Practices.

The Disability Services Commission (the Commission) is seeking the services of a suitably qualified Consultant with extensive advocacy experience related to disability services in Western Australia, knowledge of contemporary approaches in Positive Behaviour Support and demonstrated experience of working with families of people with disability, to develop and/or deliver a state-wide training framework for the disability sector.
The state-wide training framework will involve the development and/or delivery of a training package (and associated resources) across Western Australia to accompany the roll out of the Voluntary Code of Practice for the Elimination of Restrictive Practices. This training will be provided to disability sector staff and families of people with disability across all regional/remote regions as well as in the metropolitan area.
