For The Supply of Various Cloth To The Commonwealth For Provision As Government Furnished Material (GFM).

You Are Invited To Submit A Tender For The Supply of Various Cloth To The Commonwealth For Provision As Government Furnished Material (GFM) To Other Suppliers For The Manufacture of Tri-Service Garments, Made To Measure Uniforms And Accoutrement Insignia.

The Supplies Sought As Part of This RFT Are As Follows:

a. Cloth, Barrathea, Wool/Polyester, Navy Blue, 270 GSM, 147CM Wide, – 20,000 Metres;

b. Cloth, Plain Weave, Khaki, Wool/Polyester, 205 GSM, 145 CM, Wide– 12,000 Metres;

c. Cloth, Plain Weave, Air Force Blue, 50% Polyester / 50% Wool, 205 GSM, 145 CM Wide – 16,000 Metres;

d. Cloth, Plain Weave, Meta Aramid 93% Para Aramid 5%, Carbon Fibre 2%, Flame Retardant, 150 GSM, Sage Green - 2,000 Metres; And

e. Cloth, Plain Weave, Meta Aramid 93% Para Aramid, Carbon Fibre 2%, Flame Retardant, 150 GSM, Tan – 4,000 Metres.

The Cloth Is To Be Manufactured In Accordance With The Following Specifications:

a. DEF(AUST)8658, Cloth Barathea And Plain Weave; And

b. ADF 8305-002 Cloth, Meta Aramid Para Aramid Carbon Fibre, Plain And Twill Weaves, Disruptive Pattern Print, Sage Green And Black.

The Commonwealth At Its Absolute Discretion May Issue More Than One Contract For The Requirement Where This Represents Value For Money.
