The Minister for Regional Development and Lands Brendon Grylls has requested Regional Development Commissions (RDC’s) play an active role in supporting groups of country local governments to identify, scope and plan regional infrastructure priorities that will demonstrate wider community benefit across multiple local government areas. This will ensure that the priorities identified by groups of local governments align with wider strategic regional priorities identified by the Commissions.
