Supply of Anaesthetic Volatile Agents and Vaporisers

Western Australian (WA) Health Service Providers (HSPs) require the provision of anaesthetic volatile agents and vaporisers to support the provision of clinical services across the WA health system. The scope of the proposed contract will include the supply of two anaesthetic volatile agents, Sevoflurane and Desflurane, as well asvaporisers provided on a free loan basis to respective sites.

The Contract may be:

• A Panel arrangement with one or more Contractors to provide one or both Products and associated vaporisers. Contractors will be appointed to the Panel with no guarantee of minimum Products sold. HSPs/hospital sites will be able to move between Contractors at the HSP’s discretion.
• Alternatively the Contract may be a Single Contractor arrangement whereby one Contractor supplies one or both Products and associated vaporisers to all HSP’s within WA for a minimum Contract Term of five (5) years (with three (3) x one (1) year extension options).

The resultant Head Agreement will constitute a standing offer, whereby Customers can place Orders on an ‘as required’ basis during the Term.
