The Provision of the Kalgoorlie Regional Town Bus Service

1. 1. 1. The Public Transport Authority (PTA) seeks the services of an appropriately experienced and qualified service provider to provide regular passenger services.
      2. The current contract for Kalgoorlie Regional Town Bus Service is due to expire on 9 October 2021. The new contract will commence on 10 October 2021.
      3. This Request for Tender (RFT) contains detailed specifications on the service levels required to provide the Services from the Commencement Date. Tenderers are not required to demonstrate how they would implement changes to the Services at contract commencement. However, the Contractor is expected to proactively and continuously review services to maximise the cost effectiveness of service delivery and to improve patronage during the contract term. All service changes should be well planned and considered and comply with Regional Town Bus Services planning principles.

Tenders will be assessed on a value for money basis inclusive of cost impacts to the PTA as a consequence of the recommended outcome.

This RFT incorporates the ‘Book 3 - Proposed Kalgoorlie Regional Town Bus Service Contract’ which contains the essential service requirements that Tenderers must consider when preparing and submitting their Tender response. If there is any inconsistency between the Tender document and the Proposed Regional Town Bus Service Contract, the Service Contract shall prevail.
