CQ University is currently undertaking a chilled water (CHW) upgrade project at their Bundaberg Campus. This forms part of a long-term plan to convert the campus to chilled water (CHW) air conditioning systems, in lieu of the DX systems predominantly used.

This project is for the supply, delivery, and future commissioning of the chiller unit only as an ‘early-works’ project and does not include any associated works with the broader CHW upgrade. The chiller unit is to be procured, prior to the award of the broader CHW upgrade works to alleviate risks of long chiller manufacture lead times. Due to this, it is expected that the chiller unit may remain on site not connected to the existing system for an extended period, before being connected and commissioned under the planned CHW upgrade project.
