Description
The State of Queensland acting through the Department of Natural Resources, Mines and Energy is seeking to engage a suitably qualified and experienced building contractor for building demolition and asbestos removal works on the Mount Morgan Mine site.
It should be noted that:
- The site is heritage listed, however Development Approval has been granted by the Queensland Heritage Council and Department of Environment and Science for make safe works on a number of structures/buildings, including those that form part of this tender; and
- The structures/buildings are considered to be structurally unsound.
