Tenders are invited from suitably qualified and experienced contractors for the construction of streetscape, road and footpath improvements in Mary Street (Monkland Street to Channon Street section) in the Gympie central business district. The works include concrete footpaths, stormwater drainage, asphalt paving, garden and tree pit installation, landscaping planting and the installation of street furniture and lighting.

Documents are available from the Queensland Government QTender website at https://www.hpw.qld.gov.au/qtenders/home.do. Tenderers must be registered with the Queensland Government QTender site to be able to download documents, request information and submit a Tender.

Suitably endorsed tenders close at the below website address at 2pm on Tuesday 4 June 2019. In accordance with s228(8) of the Local Government Regulation 2012 (Regulation), Council may decide not to accept any tenders it receives. In accordance with s288(9) of the Regulation any accepted tender must be the one deemed most advantageous to Council. It is noted that the lowest price tender may not be the most advantageous.

Tenderers are recommended to visit the site as part of their Tender preparation to have a greater understanding of the site and planned works. A site inspection for the Request for Tender is not mandatory.
