Chemical Wash Products and Services - HSSP_HC24_1015

The purpose of this contract is to establish a sustainable partnership between HealthShare NSW, Linen Service, and Ecolab to deliver wash chemicals as cost effectively and efficiently as possible. The Scope of the contract includes: Supply and Service of Wash Chemicals for: • Chemical disinfection of General Linen • Chemical disinfection of Theatre Linen Additionally, a list of supplementary products will be supplied by Ecolab for general wash chemicals such as hard surface disinfection, heavy detergent, products for cleaning trolleys and trucks etc. Major users of the contract include: HealthShare NSW, 7 laundry sites, including: • Parramatta, Newcastle, Orange, Tamworth, Illawarra, Wagga Wagga and Lismore • Other Eligible Customers within NSW Health HealthShare NSW Linen Service provides linen services to public hospitals and other health facilities in NSW from 7 laundries across the State. The purpose of this contract is to establish the requirements of HealthShare NSW Linen Services for the provision of bulk laundry washing products, associated infrastructure and services. Each HealthShare NSW Linen Services location will require supply, installation, commissioning and maintenance of infrastructure such as delivery lines to bulk storage tanks, bulk storage tanks; chemical delivery pumps and lines. The Supply, installation, commissioning and maintenance of all monitoring equipment required to adjust the wash chemistry to ensure optimal washing and improved environmental performance. Washing is undertaken mainly with Continuous Batch Washers but also with Washer Extractors.
