The Flinders Ranges Council
Quorn and Hawker Septic Tank Desludging Program
Details
Description
The Flinders Ranges Council (the Council) invites tenders from Tenderers for the provision of
Septic Tank Pump-Out and Disposal of Associated Sludge/Bio Solids (the Services). The Council will enter into a Contract for Services from 1 March 2022 to 30 June 2024 with the successful Tenderer.
Community Waste Management Schemes (CWMS), are systems for the collection and management of wastewater generated within a town, regional area or community not connected to SA Water sewerage infrastructure.
As part of the efficient operation of the CWMS systems, Council runs a four (4) yearly septic tank desludging program for the safe and effective disposal of associated bio-solids. The four year program includes all properties within the Local Government Area with a septic tank system installed and connected to a CMWS. This equates to a total of approximately 605 septic tanks.
