Description
The Department of Human Services is seeking suppliers for the provision of a range of modern and wearable personal alert devices, to eligible Personal Alert Rebate Scheme (PARS) customers.
PARS aim is to support vulnerable, older, South Australians who are at risk of falls or medical emergencies, to live independently in their own homes for longer by providing subsidies access to personal alert systems and monitoring of those systems.
In addition to the provision of devices, suppliers may provide details of any related monitoring services they offer, for a period of up to 12 months, for new PARS customers.
The expected term of the contract is three and a half (3.5) years with two (2) one-year extension options, for a total term of five and a half (5.5) years if all options are exercised.
