Provision of Transactional Banking Services and Purchasing Card Services
Details
Description
The Australian Government Department of Finance and Deregulation invites suitably qualified organisations to tender for the provision of Transactional Banking Services and/or Purchasing Card Services.
The Department currently maintains over 20 bank accounts. It will require the successful tenderer to manage these accounts in accordance with the Core Protocols for Agency Banking Arrangements, which can be found at http://www.finance.gov.au/financial-framework/financial-management-policy-guidance/agency-banking-overview.html. It requires bank account maintenance, desktop electronic banking, and a range of other services from its banking provider.
The Department currently has over 300 purchasing cards on issue to its employees. These are used for general purchasing. It requires that these cards have wide acceptability, and will seek a range of reporting and control functionality from the successful tenderer.
The Department is seeking tenders for the provision of these services from 1 July 2009 to 30 June 2014, with possible extensions up to 30 June 2018. It is seeking tenders from organisations who are able to provide one or both of these services.
