Defence Contamination Remediation Multi-Use List (MUL) - 2013 Annual Refresh
Details
Description
Defence is seeking applications from suitably qualified and experienced companies to conduct contamination remediation civil works. Successful applicants will be included on a Multi-Use List (MUL) which will be used on an as needs basis to select suitable companies for separate remediation works projects. The MUL has been established to operate for an initial 3 year period with annual re-advertising to consider new applications and options to extend for a further 2 years. Defence makes no guarantee that companies accepted to the MUL will be asked to tender for any given remediation project and may elect to use other procurement methods if appropriate. Companies who are accepted onto the MUL and who are asked to tender for specific remediation works projects should be aware that Defence Security Clearances may apply and may need to be obtained for key personnel. To support this program, Defence requires suitably qualified and experienced companies to undertake contamination remediation works. The various types of services required to be delivered under this program include, but are not limited to:
1. Remediation civil works (e.g. decommissioning, removal and validation of above and underground storage tanks, sediment and erosion control works, excavation and offsite disposal, etc);

4. Any additional services or areas of expertise that may be relevant to Remediation Works, for example, ability to identify or any experience with design and delivery of new/innovative remediation options.
