Description
The project involves the construction of a new secure area within the existing building 11 of Defence Science and Technology Organisation (DSTO) Fishermans Bend. This includes building works, alterations to existing ducts and air-conditioning, acoustic treatment and supply and installation of a new electronic security system.
Works include:
- Remove and dispose of existing carpet and replace with new carpet tiles,
- Supply, paint and install new partition walls,
- Supply and install new security door and airlock, door hardware and furniture,
- New ceiling mounted energy recovery ventilation unit and air conditioning,
- Relocation of existing sprinklers as required and installation of new sprinkler heads and associated pipework as required,
- Supply and install new electronic access system, and
- New system to be compatible with the existing security system.
