Ellendale Deconstruction

This RFT and associated documents relates to Works at Ellendale Mine Site for the safe deconstruction and removal of all remaining infrastructure, plant and equipment (including general rubbish and debris) from the Ellendale site and to dispose of all materials, waste and general rubbish in appropriately designated waste facilities.

The liquidator’s auction was undertaken in September 2015, disposing of much of the valuable items of plant and infrastructure associated with the Ellendale site. Removal of plant and equipment appears to have been unmanaged and the remaining inoperable and redundant plant infrastructure is considered to be in an unsafe state. There are two main plant areas and numerous laydowns and supporting infrastructure areas. The prime objective of the works program is to make safe the areas around the E9 and E4 mine sites.
