ESTABLISH INTERNAL AUDIT FUNCTION FOR FORESTRYSA

The South Australian Forestry Corporation, trading as ForestrySA, is responsible for the management of the South Australian Government owned forest reserves. ForestrySA is seeking a suitably qualified Consulting company, experienced in Internal Audit activities to support the provision of an internal audit function. The Consultant(s) will be responsible to the Chief Executive, South Australian Forestry Corporation, in undertaking an audit program to be determined by the South Australian Forestry Corporation Board. The primary role of the Internal Audit is to assist the South Australian Forestry Corporation Board through the provision of an independent appraisal function. The prime purpose of the internal audit will be to conduct an objective examination of systems and practices in accordance with:  general accepted practices for cost effective internal control;  principles, practices and philosophies for continuous improvement, and  appropriate risk management principles.
