Standing Offer - HACC Gardening and Handyperson Services

Description
Services shall be performed for Council’s HACC eligible residents. Eligible residents include frail aged people and younger people with a moderate or severe disability, who are at risk of premature admission to long term residential care, and the carers of these people.
Tenderers may tender for the HACC Gardening Services component only of the contract, the HACC Handyperson Services component only of the contract or both of the aforementioned components of the contract.
The gardening and handyperson services are designed to assist residents to keep their home in a safe and habitable condition and could include the following tasks:
Gardening:
- Trimming of shrubs / hedges / trees / plants, not exceeding 3 metres in height
- Lawn mowing and weeding
- Removal of garden waste
- One off garden tidy
Handyperson:
- Changing light bulbs
- Replacing tap washers
- Replacing smoke alarm batteries
- Installation of key safes
- Installation of hand rails as per occupational therapy assessment drawings
The above tasks are not to be interpreted as totally prescriptive in nature. It is indicative of the type and range of duties to be undertaken by the Contractor.
