Invitation to Offer for the provision of a Shark Control Program at Rainbow Beach

The Department of Employment, Economic Development and Innovation (DEEDI) is seeking to establish an arrangement for the provision of Shark Control Services – Rainbow Beach for a two year period with an option to extend for a further four, two year periods upon satisfactory performance and at the discretion of the department. The Services generally comprise the placement and complete servicing of nets and baited drumlines off the Queensland coast in the waters adjacent to Rainbow Beach, for the purpose of catching sharks, plus some ancillary services and related reporting.
