DN600 GRP Pipe SWOP Replacement

This is a Major Water Contract for the construction of the replacement of the Saline Water Outfall Pipeline (SWOP). The scope of works includes the supply and installation of all pipes and fittings for the construction of approximately 18.6 kilometres of DN600mm GRP & HDPE pipe within the constraints of the existing SWOP easement. The works also includes the construction of interconnecting pipework to the existing Saline Water Outfall Pipeline (SWOP) as detailed on the design drawings.
The Contract Sum shall be full compensation for the complete construction of the works, construction plant, temporary works, commissioning, defects liability for the works for the specified period, and any remedial works and the replacement of any defective works. Extra monies will be paid only for work undertaken in accordance with Variation Orders issued in writing by the Superintendent
The Contract Sum is not subject to Rise and Fall or Price Variation, nor shall it be subject to variation due to changes in foreign exchange rates.
