Sandgate Station DDA Upgrade

Tenders are invited from Contractors for the Sandgate Station Upgrade. The project will make the station more operationally efficient, improve Disability Discrimination Act compliance and incorporate a safe and comfortable environment for staff and customers with improved pedestrian access. The upgrade will include a new overpass, stairs and lifts to each platform as well as new services including lighting, CCTV and power supply and new Network services. The work will also include the removal of existing foot bridge, raising of the platforms and refurbishment of the existing station buildings and amenities, additional shelter canopies along with some minor works within the existing car park.

The Works under the Contract comprise the construction and completion of the Sandgate station upgrade and associated works as more particularly described in or reasonably inferred from the Contract Documents.
