RFT0016 - Gympie Youth Precinct Recreation Hub

Tenders are invited from suitably qualified and experienced contractors for the construction of Gympie Youth Precinct Recreation Hub including refurbishment of an existing community building and construction of a skatepark with multiple wheeled sports facilities and climbing wall. Contractors can tender on the civil and skate park works (Portion A), or building works (Portion B), or both parts.

A site visit will be held at Gympie Memorial Swimming Pool (decommissioned), Nelson Reserve, River Road (West), Gympie at 10am on 12 February 2019. The meeting is optional and is limited to three representatives from each Tenderer. Representatives to wear long sleeve shirt, trousers, sun protective hat, safety vest & steel cap boots. Tenderers must be registered with the Queensland Government QTender site to be able to download documents, request information and submit a Tender.

Suitably endorsed Tenders close at the below website address at 2pm on 26 February 2019. In accordance with s228(8) of the Local Government Regulation 2012 (Regulation), Council may decide not to accept any tenders it receives.

In accordance with s288(9) of the Regulation any accepted tender must be the one deemed most advantageous to Council. It is noted that the lowest price tender may not be the most advantageous.
