Enterprise Portal Software, Licenses and Associated Support and Maintenance

Through this Request the Department of Education seeks to establish arrangements for the supply of Portal software, licenses and associated annual software maintenance and support subscriptions to satisfy the implementation requirements for OTLS replacement and Pilbara Cities schools. At this point in time, rollout of Connect beyond these schools is not planned.

The Department may also require the optional services of implementation and technical training over the Term of the Contract. A determination on whether these optional services will be awarded will be based on the Value for Money assessment and budget availability.

The Department reserves the right to award this Contract in part or full.

The Department also reserves the right to procure additional licenses and associated annual support and maintenance subscriptions should the Department wish to extend the Connect implementation to additional schools prior to achievement of the long term portal strategy. The Department does not guarantee the purchase of any extra licenses, but requires this option which may be exercised at the sole discretion of the Department over the Term of the Contract.

The Department may also require specialist support services during the Term of the Contract. Specialist support services may include portal configuration, architecture and development services to assist the Department should they be required.
