Active Community Field Officer Program

To increase support for the delivery of recreation and sport services to regional areas of South Australia via regional Recreation and Sport Coordinators – Active Community Field Officer Program. The Office for Recreation, Sport and Racing seeks to place a minimum of three Active Community Field Officers across the state. It is expected that the Active Community Field Officer will work across a significant region of the state. These may be linked as state planning regions, areas linked by regional recreation and sport plans, or regions where there is a clear, recreation and sport based, ‘community of interest’. The Expression of Interest is an invitation to recreation and sport, local Government, Educational or related organisations to express their interest in providing the Active Community Field Officer service in any such region and to provide information about their approach to this task.
