Description
The Department is seeking tender submissions from suitably experienced persons or entities to provide caretaking services at the Fortescue Bay Camping Ground, Tasman National Park.
Fortescue Bay is one of the major visitor sites within the Tasman National Park. Visitor numbers to Fortescue Bay are approximately 32,000 per annum.
The camping ground is a managed natural site which includes the following facilities:
(a) 47 campsites;
(b) a concrete boat ramp;
(c) basic toilet and showering amenities; and
(d) a basic caretaker's residence and office.
The successful Tenderer will be required to fulfil its duties as an independent contractor (not as an employee) to the Department and will be expected to operate with a high level of independence, a high degree of initiative and judgement, in performing the Department’s Requirements in accordance with the Conditions of Contract.
