WA Public Transport Authority
Water Corporation Water Main Relocation - Bellevue Depot
Details
Description
The Western Australian Government is expanding the Perth public transport network with the addition of several new train lines, line extensions, stations, and associated infrastructure through METRONET. To support both the expanding network and the retirement of the existing A‑Series trains, the Public Transport Authority (PTA) is procuring 41 new urban Electric Multiple Unit (EMU) trains, known as the C-Series. In addition to the railcar supply, the METRONET Railcar Procurement Project (MRPP) also includes the provision of a new maintenance depot located at Bellevue, as well as associated rail infrastructure including a Traction Power Feeder Substation. To allow for construction of the Bellevue Depot and associated infrastructure to progress, a number of inground services require relocation.
One such service on the Bellevue Depot site requiring relocation is an existing DN610 water main owned by the Water Corporation.
