CITICENTRE BUILDING CARPET REPLACEMENT – HINDMARSH SQUARE ADELAIDE

The Department for Administrative and Information (DAIS) services is seeking Registrations of Interest for the supply of carpet tiles on the CitiCentre Building Carpet Replacement project. The CitiCentre Building is located at Hindmarsh Square Adelaide and accommodates various agencies of the Department for Human Services. The replacement encompasses levels 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 and 10 for a total of approximately 11,400m2. In the interests of managing quality control and supply a short list will be determined from the Registration of Interest responses and short listed suppliers will be included as selected suppliers within the tender documentation. On finalisation of tender documentation the project will be tendered as a lump sum supply and lay contract. Registrations shall be assessed on the project specific responses received to the following criteria. 1. evidence of ability to supply a carpet tile in accordance with the specification (available from Resource Architecture) nominated for this project; 2. evidence of ability to work with the client to develop a carpet tile pattern and colour which meets the clients requirements (include at least one reference); 3. evidence of ability to supply carpet in high volume and in accordance to a supply and lay program (include at least one reference); 4. evidence of your companies ability to match the selected carpet over an extended period (minimum of 5 years and include at least one reference); Registrants are also required to provide a sample of their product and this sample will form part of the assessment. The sample is to be based on a sample tile available from the office of Resource Architecture. The sample tile is not necessarily the colour that will be requested by the client. Registrations of Interest should be forwarded in writing, marked Carpet Supply Contractor Registration, addressed to the Project Risk Manager, CitiCentre Building Carpet Replacement and lodged in the Contractor Tender Box, Ground Floor, 30 Wakefield Street, Adelaide by 2pm Friday 4 April 2003. No registration will necessarily be accepted.
