The Attorney-General's Department delivers programs and policies to maintain and improve Australia's law and justice framework, strengthen our national security and emergency management, and provide support for arts and culture.
Emergency Management Australia (EMA), part of the Attorney-General's Department, has important responsibilities within the domains of crisis management, disaster recovery funding programs, and protective and major event security coordination. EMA is the single point of contact for:
* Australian Government crisis management information and whole-of-government coordination
* administration of funding programs to assist individuals and communities recover from disasters
* coordination of Australian Government resources to support domestic and international crises
* Australian Government protective and major event security arrangements.
The tenderer must provide a complete solution incorporating (but not limited) to Incident Management, Communication, Messaging, Storage and Geospatial capabilities in order for EMA to execute these responsibilities on behalf of the Australian Government.
