Description

The Department of Defence seeks to establish a Contract to support the Adventurous Training Wing (ATW) located at the Army Recruit Training Centre (ARTC), Kapooka.The Contractor would support the ATW to conduct and supervise the High Ropes Course (HRC), to deliver basic AT skills training to the AT courses, to manage ATW’s Stores and Equipment and to provide logistic support to courses.

The ATW, has a requirement for personnel to be trained as Unit Adventurous Training Leaders (UATL) and Adventurous Training Leader Instructors (ATLI) in the following AT disciplines: Sea Kayaking (SK), White Water Kayaking (WWK), White Water Rafting (WWR), Roping and Climbing (RC), Caving, (Cv), Canyoning (Cy), Back Country Skiing and Alpine Survival (BCAS) and Advanced Climbing (AdvC).

The Contractor is required to provide Training and Support Services, including;

HRC supervision at ATW Kapooka, NSW;

Equipment management through a full time unit quartermaster at ATW Kapooka, NSW; and

Specialist AT in a number of locations on an as required basis
