As part of the Fitzgerald River National Park Improvement Project, the Department of Environment and Conservation (the “Customer”) is constructing a walk trail for the coastal zone of the Fitzgerald River National Park from Point Ann to Hamersley Inlet.
A proposed alignment for the walk trail has been identified by the Customer and is divided into four (4) one day walk sections (“day section”). Each day section is divided into work areas based on access and length. The total length of the walk trail from Point Ann to Hamersley Inlet is approximately 60km.
The aim of the walk trail is a minimal maintenance trail with an environmentally sustainable tread.
The walk trail project contains three (3) separate components:
• Walk Trail Alignment
• Flora Identification Survey
• Fauna Identification Survey
