Description
The Queensland Government is seeking offers for WOGSMKALM Supply of Smoke Alarms for the supply of smoke alarms (product only) across Queensland.
BAS seeks to establish a whole-of-government Arrangement with a panel of suppliers for the supply of smoke alarms across Queensland to assist the Queensland Government to meet the legislative requirements of the Fire and Emergency Services (Domestic Smoke Alarms) Amendment Act 2016 and the Building Fire Safety (Domestic Smoke Alarms) Legislation Amendment Regulation 2016.
Suppliers are required to supply smoke alarms as and when required to Customers and their Installers for installation in Government owned and managed dwellings.
Smoke alarms will be required in all metropolitan and regional and remote locations throughout Queensland. The Principal intends to award to a Panel of Suppliers to enable coverage across the entire state of Queensland.
This tender does not include the supply of any other electrical materials or the installation of the smoke alarms.
