Description
The Tasmanian Business Licence Information Service (BLIS) provides business licence information for business operators and for those intending to start a new business. Tasmania was one of the first states to develop a BLIS and the initiative has been adopted by all Australian States and Territories. The first Tasmanian BLIS was developed in 1991, and has grown to now include information about the Tasmanian Government’s licensing information as well as Commonwealth and local government licence information, and Tasmanian Codes of Practice in the one system.
