22C007 Boom – Oil Spill Response Equipment

Description
South Australia is party to a shared responsibility and commitment to providing a timely and effective response to marine oil spills, including making available equipment and trained personnel as and when needed, both domestically and internationally.
The Department maintains sufficient stocks of response equipment to manage an oil spill incident within the South Australian jurisdiction. Replacement of existing key assets (containment, recovery and storage equipment) will ensure South Australia maintains a response capability.
This contract or contracts is for the single or dual vendor supply of the following equipment:
• Package A. Two thousand (2000) metres General Purpose Curtain Boom (self-inflating).
• Package B. Eight hundred (800) metres Shoreline Protection Boom (inflatable).
Vendors are invited to tender for the one-off supply of both packages, or just A or B.
