Description
The Corporation of the City of Whyalla is the second largest provincial city in South Australia and currently services a population of approximately 23,000. The City has over 11,236 property assessments within its area and a full time equivalent staff of around 119.
Council’s operating revenue for 2011/12 was $23.2 million.
The organisation is continuing to undergo significant change in its operations as a result of an organisational restructure and the changing local government environment, particularly in relation to financial sustainability.
Council’s office is located at the Civic Building, Darling Terrace, Whyalla, South Australia.
Whyalla Council is seeking tenders for a wide range of Debt Collection Services from 1 October 2012 for a fixed period of five (5) years to 30 September, 2017.
