MacGillivray Flood Recovery: various road resheeting and drainage works

Description
Since June 2013 Kangaroo Island has had record rainfalls; one day 6 inches of rain was recorded. The MacGillivray area has been most affected with some parts of the road network still under water. In areas roads have been washed away and others cannot be inspected because the water has not dropped enough to assess damage. The Council has concentrated on trying to keeping essential road access so that all residents in the area can get out although sometimes it requires 4 wheel drive vehicles.
Council are no wcalling for tender of stage one of road remediation works for the region.
This project focusses on remediation works on the following roads in the MacGillivray region of Kangaroo Island :
- Destrees Bay Road
- Halls Road
- Lovering Road
- Milkys Road
- Moores Road
- Seagers Road
- Three Chain Road
- Woods Road
Council is asking for tenderers to submit pricing for two (2) options.
Option A is for repair works at spot locations as assessed by the State Flood recovery team.
Option B is for resheeting works on lengths of road as identified by Council.
