Description
A carbon nitrogen analyser that has an autosampler capabale of analysing solid samples is required. This instrument must be capable of detecting both carbon and nitrogen in sediments (mostly marine) and biological samples (eg plant and animal tissues). Preference will be given to a PC controlled instrument that is also capable of analysing liquid samples, especially seawater, although this is not essential. The detection limit for carbon should be 0.005% or better in solids and 0.5 mg/L or better in liquids, and for nitrogen should be 0.008% or better in solids and 0.1 mg/L or better in liquids. The instrument should be able to analyse samples as small as 1 mg and as large as 500 mg. Price should be delivered to West Beach, Adelaide, and include installation, staff training, and any necessary software.
