Tenders are invited from experienced contractors for the rekerbing of approximately 780 metres of Beulah Road, Beulah Park.This project includes salvaging the existing bluestone kerbing units on-site and the reconstruction of concrete kerbing, incorporating the hand-placement of these bluestone units.
The project consists of a total of approximately 330 lineal metres of concrete kerb & Gutter (Type1) with black oxide added, and 450 lineal metres of bluestone kerb with concrete gutter (black oxide added).
Other associated works include the construction of a roundabout at the intersection of Beulah Road and Howard Terrace.
Existing bluestone kerbing units are to be salvaged on-site, cleaned and hand-placed where shown in the drawings.
Experience with laying bluestone kerbing in this manner will need to be demonstrated in the tender response.
