Proposed Lancelin Caravan Park Business Case

Tourism WA, in partnership with the Shire of Gingin and Department of Lands is seeking the services of a consultant to prepare a business case for the proposed development of a caravan (tourist) park located on Portion 1022 being Reserve No. 33549, Lot 1023, portion Lot 938 and portions of Unallocated Crown Land, Lancelin.
The business case will be used to demonstrate to decision makers the merit of developing a caravan park on this site, determine the impact (financial and other) of the development on the community and local government, and will justify the use of State Government funds for headworks upgrades/supply. It must address the requirements of section 3.59(3) of the Local Government Act 1995 in relation to Commercial Enterprises by Local Government.
The business case should address both the proposed construction and future operations of the caravan park as the two are linked to the sustainability of the business. Further, the report shall contain financial projections of the operations of the caravan park business during and post development.
