Background
The Public Transport Authority requires specialised Engineering Personnel be provided to the Communications Branch of the Network & Infrastructure (N&I) division, to support the delivery of a number of projects and support assets managed by N&I’s Communication Branch. The successful Tenderer is required to work within the PTA Frameworks inclusive of Quality Systems and Operational Guidelines.
Scope of services
The PTA is expecting that the successful Tenderer will provide personnel for the following roles:
- Coordinating Project Engineer/ Project Manager; and
- Communications Project Engineer.
The Tenderer’s Personnel must possess extensive and recent experience and understanding with respect to planning, design, implementation, commissioning and Entry into Service of communications systems in a public transport environment as well as other skills detailed in the Consultant’s Brief - Scope of Services and Specifications.
It is expected that a single contractor will be appointed.
Estimated Contract Commencement date is March 2021
The proposed contract term is three (3) years with no options to extend further.
