Description
Background
The Public Transport Authority (PTA) requires Graffiti Removalist Contractors to service the metropolitan network. Clean assets are essential in meeting the expectations of PTA’s customer’s, while also ensuring that the PTA meets its compliance requirements.
Graffiti is an ongoing and expensive problem faced not only by the PTA, but the entire community. PTA spends approximately $2.5 million annually removing graffiti from infrastructure and rolling stock after vandals who systematically deface assets provided for the benefit of the whole community.
The PTA aims to establish a panel of contractors to address these needs in a flexible contracting arrangement.
Scope of Services
The extent of the services shall encompass the Metropolitan PTA network with the scope of services comprising of:
- Carrying out routine inspections on platforms, platform furniture and fixtures, station buildings and track structures.
- Carrying out removal of graffiti (planned and unplanned) as required; and
- Recording and reporting details of graffiti removed.
