Development, delivery and management of leadership programs

IP Australia aims to increase organisational leadership capability through the development and delivery of innovative and flexible Leadership Programs that meet the outcomes described in the IP Australia Leadership Framework.These programs will be targeted at employees who are identified by IP Australia as potential leaders within the critical leadership transition points.

It is expected that as a minimum the following will be delivered as part of this contract:

·A corporate resource that supports the implementation of the leadership framework which may include:
- a description and the rationale behind the solutions recommended for the three critical transition points identified in the IPA leadership framework
- the learning outcomes to be achieved for any courses proposed
- examples on how individuals can work their way through the leadership offerings using a number of different job types as scenarios
- examples of how managers and staff can build individual leadership development plans within the proposed solutions based a training gap analysis and individual career aspirations;

·The delivery/coordination of the delivery of these solutions including the provision of all courseware and supporting materials and resources;

·Resources that assist managers develop individual leadership development plan for their staff based on unique work experiences and career aspirations;

·Resources that assist in the nomination and selection of individuals to ensure the right people undertake the right leadership development solution;

·Resources that support the on job application of new knowledge and skills;

·Measures to track organisation progress against the 4 ILS indicators identified in the IP Australia Leadership Framework; and

·Regular evaluation reports on the training and development solutions that outline employee feedback, continuous improvement initiatives and the identification of new innovative methods for delivering leadership development activities.
