For the provision of Contracted Decision Maker (CDM) Child Support Services

Services Australia (the Agency) is responsible for the delivery of advice and high quality, accessible social security and welfare, health, child support services and payments to the Australian public. The Agency is responsible for delivering the Child Support Program which includes assisting parents to apply for a child support assessment and facilitating the collection and transfer of child support payments by furthering the principal objects of the Child Support (Assessment) Act 1989 (Assessment Act) to ensure that children receive a proper level of child support from their parents and the Child Support (Registration and Collection Act) 1988 (Registration and Collection Act) to ensure:

- that children receive the financial support from their parents that the parents are liable to provide;

- that periodic amounts payable by parents towards the maintenance of their children are paid on a regular and timely basis; and

- that Australia is in a position to give effect to its obligations under international agreements or arrangements which relate to maintenance obligations arising from a family relationship, parentage or marriage.

To support the delivery of the child support program, the Agency is seeking to procure the services of skilled providers to provide Decision Making Services under the Assessment Act and the Registration and Collection Act.
