Australian Community Attitudes to Privacy Survey 2017
Details
Description
The Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) is seeking submissions from appropriately qualified research organisations to conduct, manage and report the findings of the 2017 Australian Community Attitudes to Privacy Survey (the survey).
The survey provides an opportunity to:
better understanding trends in attitudes towards privacy issues
learn about new privacy concerns
raise public awareness of privacy issues in relation to both the public and private sector over the coming years
inform the direction of the OAIC’s work in policy, compliance and communications as the national privacy regulator.
The results of the survey, which is collated in a detailed findings report, is expected to draw significant media attention due to the current climate around privacy issues and the relevancy of the results to the private and public sector, and the public broadly.
