Maryborough SHS - Amenities Upgrade (With Design Responsibility) 34-166178

The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of an Amenities Upgrade to the Southern Campus at Maryborough SHS, located at Kent Street, Maryborough QLD 4650, as part of the School Direct program.

The existing building is a single level brick building with amenities for students and staff. The scope of works includes demolition of existing flooring, cubicles, FF&E, window louvres and doors. Refurbishment works include concrete works, new flooring, new walls, new metalwork screening and gates, new cubicles, new FF&E and internal painting. All works are to be completed by August 2024.

Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:
• Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works
• Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $1M

QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance
It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
