Provision of Waste Collection and Management Services

The Queensland Government is seeking Proposals for Waste Collection and Management Services.

QH intends to establish a new state-wide Standing Offer Arrangement (SOA) for its Waste Collection and Management services (Services). These Services include, but are not limited to:

• General and Related Wastes
• Clinical and Related Wastes
• Hygiene Services
• Recycling
• Prescribed Industrial Waste

It does not include the following:

• CliniSmart and Sharp bins/ receptacles
• Document destruction
• Collections covered by:
  • local council services (municipal waste)
  • social enterprises i.e. Endeavour Foundation
  • items donated for charitable purposes
  • collection of waste from patients’ residences
