Description
The Cabinet Office has procured an organisation to provide independent analysis on workforce and disability market stewardship which draws on the expertise of a panel of experts. This includes targeted and high-quality analysis on the role of market stewardship and its impact on service delivery (including pricing frameworks). It also includes a disability workforce plan and strategy which would consider mitigating the risk of short- and long-term workforce shortages. Workforce and market stewardship are legacy issues which have been exacerbated by the market-led nature of the NDIS as well blurred roles and responsibilities between different levels which has resulted in service inefficiency and lack of clear accountability.
