Description
The Commonwealth of Australia (the Commonwealth) represented by the Australian Bureau of Statistics is seeking offers for the supply, maintenance, training and consultancy, from vendors able to offer up to two (2) independently manufactured firewall solutions or vendors able to offer one (1) firewall solution.
Firewall solutions will undertake one of two network security roles and will be implemented as two projects:
- Protection between various network zones (such as border, DMZ, corporate and management); or
- Protection of Gateway servers and the services they provide.
The two firewall projects may have independent implementation schedules so that purchasing for network zoning firewalls may be undertaken in the 2008/09 financial year and purchasing for gateway server firewalls scheduled for 2009/10 year.
