Aspley Special School Block B Refurbishment (with Design Responsibility)

The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of a refurbishment to Block B at Aspley Special School, located at 751 Zillmere Rd, Aspley QLD 4034 as part of the Schools Infrastructure Enhancement program.

The building is single storey and the scope will include a complete refurbishment to the internal of the building. Works can commence during Term 4 (although all students will be off site) and all works are to be completed by early January 2020.

Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:

• Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works, and
• Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $ 1M.

QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance

It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
