Provision of School Uniforms

Please note: Current Contractors to DETESOA101124 are not required to submit an Offer for this Invitation.

The purpose of this Invitation is to add a number of suitably qualified and experienced organisations to the existing non-mandatory Standing Offer Arrangement (SOA) or Preferred Supplier Arrangement (PSA) established in May 2013 for the provision of school uniforms (DETESOA 101124) to Eligible Customers across Queensland. Eligible Customers will include State schools, TAFEs, Trade Training Centres in schools, Parents and Citizen’s Associations (P&Cs), independent and non-State education customers.

The Department of Education, Training and Employment (DETE) invites offers from organisations that can supply the entire State or any number of Education Queensland’s regions. Regionally-based organisations are encouraged to apply. The number of Contractors engaged under the SOA will be influenced by the number and quality of offers received and expected demand.

The SOA is non-mandatory for use by Eligible Customers as it is important for Eligible Customers to have the discretion to make purchasing decisions that are most applicable to their local circumstances. Where DETE Eligible Customers choose not to use SOA Contractors, competitive exercises must be undertaken in accordance with DETE purchasing procedures.
