Clontarf Beach State School - Lift Project (with design responsibility)

The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of a new lift at Clontarf Beach State School, located at Elizabeth Avenue, Clontarf Qld 4019, as part of the Ed4All (EFA) program.

The new lift structure includes a two stop lift including landings connecting to existing walkways. The position of the lift is between block D and Block E, connecting into the existing walkways with limited site access and working space. All works are to be completed by August 2022.

Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:

 Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works

 Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $ 1 Million

QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance

It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
